Cowdray Farm Shop & Café... quality local food in Midhurst, West Sussex
The Cowdray Farm Shop and Cafe
are situated on the 16,500 acre Cowdray Estate
in Midhurst, West Sussex, at the heart of the
South Downs National Park.
Much of the produce is supplied by the 4,ooo acre Cowdray Home Farm, the majority of which is fully converted organic land.
The farm is mixed with organic dairy, prize winning beef and lamb, potatoes, eggs, wheat, oats and barley.
The Estate also provides us with award winning venison from the naturally managed woods and organically grown vegetables.
What we are about
Our traditional butchers offer the highest quality
meat and game sourced primarily from the estate.
Our in-store bakery provides a selection of fresh artisan breads and cakes, baked daily using flour from wheat grown on the Estate.
As well as the everyday essentials, such as seasonal fresh fruit and vegetables, the shop has a well stocked deli, with our own pies, quality cheeses and charcuterie.
Fine groceries, specialy selected affordable wines, chocolates, biscuits and exceptional gifts are also available.
The Cowdray Farm Shop Café has just been awarded the FARMA Best on-farm Café-Restaurant 2012.
The Café serves outstanding food, from breakfast to sandwiches and snacks, to substantial meals, made from scratch, using traditional artisan techniques and the best Cowdray & local produce.
