Wholemeal Sour Dough

naturally leavened white sourdough bread without added yeast
Baguette
stone baked slow fermented French bread
Foccacia
light Italian soft dough enriched with olive oil & flavoured with shallots & rosemary
Walnut & Raisin
slow fermented, with a little rye flour, walnuts & raisins
Spelt
slow fermented nutty flavoured bread made using an ancient & nutritious cousin of wheat
Seven Seed
light 50% wholemeal loaf with pumpkin, sunflower, millet, sesame, poppy, brown & golden linseeds
Potato, Shallot & Rosemary
slow fermented Italian country bread with a little semolina, olive oil, potato, shallots & rosemary
As well as our traditional white & granary loaves.
Artisan Biscuits
Our pastry chef now makes all our biscuits for the café including dark chocolate florentines, shortbead and various cookies such as oat & syrup, stem gingernut and rich chocolate.
Look out for all the Cowdray labelled cakes and other baked items in the Farm Shop & Café. These are all baked in our bakery to the highest standards, using natural ingredients.
